AUTOPILOT by Kelaska

Blending dreamy waves of soft but powerfull vocals with vintage rock guitars, Kelaska has found her own unique sound in the world of indie pop.

The sound of turning on the cassette, the dull beginning of the track, transporting the listener straight into the past. Kelaska has created a blend of early 20’s movie memories, high school friendships, betrayal and a completely modern approach to vocal technique and production. Pure nastolgy with a dash of pop rock. This makes the ‘autopilot’ release a flawless track.

Her voice is awesome, mocking and confident, sensitive and soulful. Even though the lyrical content is about Kelli’s depressive phases – the deceptively upbeat ‘Autopilot’ is peppered with sadness that threatens to burst from Kelaska’s voice. The song is perfect as a companion for lonely, rainy nights with a cup of tea. ‘Autopilot’ is a pleasurable pop-rock affair. If you enjoy Avril Lavigne, Alanis Morissette, and Maggie Rogers, you’ll likely fall for Kelaska too.
