SOMOH is the solo moniker of Sophia Mohan. Combining elements of bedroom-pop and 90’s indie rock SOMOH’s deeply personal and inviting nostalgic songcraft explores themes of love, hardship, friendships, and family whilst channelling the likes of Beabadoobee, Soccer Mommy and Alex G.
After covering songs on social media, SOMOH struck up a friendship with Irish songwriter and producer Joel Johnston aka Far Caspian, who would go on to produce and mix her debut EP ‘A Plan To Get Home’. Under the moniker SOMOH, Sophia Mohan combines 90s Indie Rock and Bedroom-Pop on Beabadoobee and Soccer Mommy inspired new single ‘Anything’ – a deeply personal and invitingly nostalgic musing on the “scary but beautiful feeling of falling so deeply for a person!”.
After previous collaborations with Joel Johnston, ‘Anything’ was produced by Joel and is her first release via Tiny Library Records the independent label curated by Joel.
