Weekly Spotlight With Sara Kelly, Eli Waltz, Claire Radel, Chris Horses & The Magnificent Dying

This week has been an absolute blast! A ton of new songs dropped, and let me tell you, picking out the cream of the crop was no easy feat. So, we’ve given our list a little refresh. We’ve kept it breezy! Our weekly roundup is always here, and today is no exception with the best tracks of the week according to Indie Boulevard, which you absolutely, positively need to check out.

Kicking off our list is Sara Kelly with her latest single “Wildflower.” “Wildflower” is all about embracing a little bit of wildness as you grow up. It’s a heartwarming mother-daughter tale that unfolds beautifully throughout the song — from keeping mom up at night to hanging out with the wrong crowd, to realizing that being a free spirit is something you never really outgrow. Besides being a sentimental ballad, this track just hits you with its unforgettable chorus. Sara’s vocals shine bright in this one. It’s pure country.

“Fire in the Fields” by Eli Waltz speaks to finding stability once more. It’s a folk song that doubles as a meditation, an ode to living in the moment. With its acoustic guitar, soaring violin, and powerful vocals, the song feels like a fusion of old-school folk with a modern twist. It’s an experimental take on folk music, a blend of musical theater and David Bowie in one package. It might not hit you right away, but after a couple of listens, you’ll realize, darn, this is just cool!

Claire Radel’s “Looking No More” offers an authentic perspective on love and the realness of being with someone who’s right for you. This track flows with a gentle pace, featuring Claire’s pleasant vocals, a slightly dreamy atmosphere, and overall, the best part is that it’s just a pleasure to listen to.

Continuing on the country theme, let’s talk about “Calm As A Storm” by Chris Horses. First and foremost, it’s worth noting that Chris is a fantastic storyteller. His lyrics are light yet possess a powerful charm and depth. A nature enthusiast always on the lookout for adventure, Garland Kelley brings an uplifting joviality that lurks beneath the grittiness of his melodic messages. His goal isn’t to weigh listeners down but to connect on a personal level, extending a hand to navigate through life’s struggles.

“The War” by The Magnificent Dying is a sonic journey that grips you from the first note and doesn’t let go. Its cinematic quality transports you to another world, while its stylish production keeps you hooked. It’s one of those rare tracks that commands your attention and leaves you in awe of its brilliance. It’s cinematic, it’s stylish, and it’s easily one of the most mind-blowing tracks I’ve heard lately. It’s like a vintage slow burn, a total masterpiece!

And that concludes our feature, ‘Weekly Spotlight.’ I’m confident that these evocative and chic tracks have left a lasting impression on you, just as they have on me. As we bid adieu for now, may you carry on indulging in the most exquisite tunes! Until our paths intertwine once more, may the symphony of life continue to serenade you with its harmonious melody. Farewell for now, and may the music never cease to inspire and uplift your spirit.
