The Fight is On! Baby Said Signs Management Deal and Drops Killer EP

Success in the music industry often seems like an unattainable dream, yet the story of Baby Said demonstrates that perseverance and commitment to one’s goals can lead to significant outcomes. Each step on this path reveals new opportunities for creativity and self-expression, affirming that anyone who dares to dream and is willing to work hard will find their place in the world of music. It is such examples that inspire independent musicians to continue their creative journey despite the challenges. Baby Said’s story began in 2021 when Veronica and Jess Pal first performed on the street. Soon after, thanks to their memorable sound, Baby Said was invited to perform at local venues. This success marked the starting point for their further development and the soon formation of a cover band with the intriguing name AstroModa. As the months passed, each new performance added to their confidence and skills necessary for achieving larger goals.

Over two years, Veronica and Jess Pal have performed over 200 concerts across the country, which helped them solidify their skills, and most importantly, they became ready to achieve more. Baby Said started writing, recording, and releasing their own original music. In March 2023, when they partnered with Big Hug Management, the band officially changed its name to Baby Said, and Holly Knowles (Rhythm and BV’s) and Maddie Hackett (Drums) joined Veronica and Jess Pal as main members.

Today, Baby Said is releasing their debut EP “Who Gives A Rock” with four tracks, showcasing their craftsmanship and grand ambitions. Having received extensive acclaim from critics, media outlets, and listeners, Baby Said is determined to continue climbing to the heights of their music career. “Who Gives A Rock” truly raises the bar. You will be amazed by its commercial pop rock sound that gives you chills.

From the very first track “Panic Attack,” it’s clear how cool the band sounds. The song accurately conveys a feeling of escalating anxiety through dynamic instrumentation and the powerful vocals of the sisters, which are charged with energy. The commercial development of the melody, transitioning from slow sounds to fast rhythms, completely captivating. With each passing minute, the music intensifies, reminiscent of a boiling kettle.

Then, in “Mouth Shut,” the commercial sound blends with a story of disillusionment. The cool rock sound penetrates right to the heart, making you want to jump and dance, while the compelling lyrics hook you even more. This track perfectly combines emotional depth with an energetic melody.

The track “You Killed It,” produced by Gethin Pearson (who has worked with Bloc Party, Badly Drawn Boy, and Jaws), absolutely captivated me and I consider it the best on the album. It stands out with its commercial sound and enthralling vocals that gradually unveil all the emotions of the song. As one of the strongest tracks on the EP, it is filled with a fast pace, cool guitar parts, and a unique, catchy vocal performance. The quick rock vibe encourages fun, partying, and livens up the atmosphere.

Get ready, because the final track “Fight” embodies the spirited essence of resistance. The powerful rock sound and gripping vocals convey the determination to stand firm and prove oneself both on stage and in life. The track starts heavy, with groovy guitars and a stylish drumbeat that emphasizes persistence and strength. The playfulness in the track, with unique lead vocals and cool backing vocals, is striking. By the chorus, the pace picks up, and your heart races. “Fight” is a memorable and strong track that concludes the “Who Gives A Rock” EP on a high note, leaving listeners wanting more.

In conclusion, the story of Baby Said serves as an example that success in the music industry, while a challenging endeavor, is still attainable for those who continuously dream, work hard, and relentlessly pursue their goals. Their musical journey, from humble street performances to signing a contract and releasing their debut EP “Who Gives A Rock”, demonstrates that perseverance and the drive to create something unique can lead to notable results and recognition. The inspiring story of Baby Said underscores the importance of believing in oneself and one’s art, making them a role model for aspiring artists.

And of course, “Who Gives A Rock” is undoubtedly a must-listen, and not just once. The EP was released today, and I highly recommend it.
