So much so that they need it just to get through the day. Pretty ironic, right? The pop production hides a lot of that emo heart, so you don’t immediately catch how deep the lyrics go. But that’s what makes the track even more interesting.
The college rock vibe hits just right. I love how her vocals play into that contrast. And the chorus? It sticks with you, gets stuck in your head, and before you know it, you’re hitting repeat. ‘Caffeine’ is seriously cool, and if the album follows the same vibe, I’m already lined up.
