“Dedicated” by Melisa Kelly sounds like a sincere monologue aimed at one person—the person who has always been there, but whom she herself often ignored. Not others, but herself.

“Dedicated” grabs you right away: the piano sounds both tender and with a subtle defiance, and, like a synchronized dance, the notes bounce up and down, dropping and rising.
Melisa’s vocals are a separate pleasure. She doesn’t try to scream her disappointment, doesn’t tear the melody apart with a cry—on the contrary, she sings quietly, as if whispering to someone already close by. And that makes the song truly intimate. You can’t help but notice how her voice seems to sync with the piano: together they form a duet, where one cannot exist without the other, like two sides of the same statement. Five stars? Without hesitation.
