I just listened to Power by Nuala and genuinely had to sit down for a sec. It’s just her and a guitar, nothing fancy, and somehow that makes it hit even harder?? Her voice is so pure it actually gave me chills. like that soft vibrato she does? excuse me?? How dare she??

It’s one of those songs that feels like it was written at 2am after crying in the shower but in the best way possible. not sad exactly, more like… quietly strong? it’s called Power but it’s not loud or showy—it’s steady, real, and you can hear the emotion in every word. She’s just being honest, and that makes it ten times more powerful than any big dramatic ballad.
Honestly idk what it is but she could probably sing the contents of my grocery list and i’d still be like “omg vocals.” She’s just that good. If you’re in your feelings or need something that wraps around you like a soft blanket — this is it.
