Joey Landreth co-writes and drops in with these honey-drenched vocals and that buttery guitar tone. Joanna Majoko brings a subtle yet distinct emotional layer to the song. Her vocals balance between soothing warmth and a near-jazz refinement.

But that’s not the standout. The MVP for me here is the drum mix. My God. This thing is like silk wrapped in suede dipped in maple syrup. I don’t know who engineered this, but they understood the assignment. The snare is tucked in like a heartbeat, and the kick doesn’t punch—it breathes.

SCORE 9.1/10
If there’s any knock here, it’s that the track ends just when it feels like it could stretch into a fuller suite.
