What gives it weight, though, is the context. These guys basically grew up in front of their fans, from being best friends messing around on Vine to platinum-selling artists. Now they’re older, more self-aware, and ‘Fire’ feels like them trying to prove they still have that spark, that chemistry that made people care in the first place.
It’s flashy, sexy, catchy as hell, and it repositions Jack & Jack as serious players again after the break. Fans will eat it up, and even skeptics will have trouble shaking that chorus. This is them saying, “We’re here again, and we still know how to make a hit.”
