Hanna Andrea Continues Her 2026 Run with New Indie Pop Single “Pinnacles”

Hanna Andrea has been delighting us with a string of releases in 2026. The newest one is the song Pinnacles, and it comes across as quality indie pop.

The unusual sound begins right at the start, resembling a kalimba. This grabs attention and brings an atmosphere of immersion and discovery. And right after that, we’re given the main sound; the singer and her team are clearly familiar with the “three second rule,” when it’s necessary to hook the audience immediately.

This marketing precision will be noticeable further on too, even for those who aren’t deeply into the topic of music and marketing. The sound is average pop, and in places you can recognize entire fragments of other songs.

But this isn’t a patchwork of other people’s ideas; the sound turned out to be genuine musical storytelling. There’s room here for emotional experiences, ups and downs, and growth, reminiscent of Vogler’s hero’s journey, only told in notes. This is a case where following templates works well.

Pinnacles doesn’t come across as emotionally flat. Where it’s needed, the piano adds depth to the emotions, and the marching motif gives a sense of a final push and the feeling that our heroine will handle everything.

Want something predictable with tried and tested motifs? Give Hanna Andrea and her Pinnacles a try.
