Today I want to share with you an intimate indie folk track, “Park of Insecurities” by Max Berend. “Park of Insecurities” resonated with me very deeply. The theme of this track feels very close to me.
Throughout the song, there runs a simple but important idea that vulnerability and fears are definitely not something to be ashamed of. Rather, they should be seen as a place you can “walk through” in order to eventually find clarity and harmony.

That is what Berend sings about. I was also captivated by the sound of “Park of Insecurities,” of course. In particular, by its almost overwhelming sincerity. Max Berend’s voice sounds as if he is sitting right in front of you, trusting you with his most intimate thoughts. And he wants you to share them with him.
What impressed me even more is Max Berend’s ability to convey a very complex range of emotions through relatively simple acoustic motifs. Overall, I highly, highly recommend giving this track a listen.
