The track opens at its own pace. Guitar notes ring out with plenty of air around them, while Sichta sings in a weathered, conversational voice that suits every rough edge in the arrangement. There is tension here, carried through the slow accumulation of drums, strings and chiming guitar. Mt. Kili let each sound hang for a moment before another detail enters, creating the sense of a storm gathering somewhere beyond the window.
