Petit Biscuit Reimagines “cinema (dream version)” for the Quiet Hours

Some songs survive every club cycle thrown at them. Benny Benassi’s “Cinema” belongs in that rare group, with its central melody and romantic lyrics travelling through countless remixes since the early 2010s. Petit Biscuit approaches it from a quieter direction on “cinema (dream version)”.

The French producer recorded the cover after a road trip through Norway, where revisiting older music brought “Cinema” back into focus. He chose to sing the song himself and built the instrumental around the emotions of that trip.

That origin explains the intimacy running through the finished recording. This version belongs to headphones, late evenings and the private aftermath of a long drive.
