Bjorke wrote, produced and largely performed the album herself, selecting material from more than seventy songs. “N64” belongs to that broader act of self-definition. Her enthusiasm for hooks, harmonies and stylistic freedom gives the project its appeal: an experienced musician finally setting the terms of her own introduction.
